Story Content Ella and Mark had planned a picnic by the lake. By the time they reached the park, the sun had already set. They had packed sandwiches and drinks, but they realized they had forgotten the blanket. Before they had left their house, Ella had reminded Mark to check the list. Unfortunately, he had been too distracted by a phone call. As they sat on the grass, they thought about how they had enjoyed many picnics in the past. Ella laughed and said they had never forgotten anything before. Mark nodded, admitting that he had been too confident this time. They decided to make the best of it and had a wonderful evening under the stars. By the time they returned home, they had learned to double-check their list in the future.
